MRI, CT & Diagnostics
Digital diagnostics including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and direct-digital X-ray. Short waiting times, fair prices.
About this specialization
We have complete diagnostic equipment that lets us carry out a wide range of examinations right here in the hospital. We have MRI, CT, digital X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and arthro-, rhino- and bronchoendoscopy. The results are evaluated in-house, with no waiting for external facilities.
Our diagnostics also include blood work, with haematology and biochemistry evaluated while you wait. That means the results are available during the patient's visit, and the next diagnostic step can follow without unnecessary delay.
What it includes

Frequently asked questions
Does my animal need anaesthesia for an MRI or CT?
Yes — both MRI and CT require general anaesthesia, because the animal must stay completely still during the scan. Before the procedure we run a pre-anaesthetic check including blood tests.
What is the difference between MRI and CT?
CT is ideal for imaging bone and blood vessels and for planning orthopaedic surgery. MRI is the gold standard for soft tissue — spinal cord, brain, intervertebral discs, tendons and ligaments.
How long does an examination take?
An X-ray takes a few minutes. Ultrasound 15–30 minutes. CT usually 15–45 minutes, MRI 30–60 minutes (including anaesthesia preparation).
When will the results be ready?
We usually evaluate the results on the day of the examination and send them to you in a clinical report within 24 hours.
