Veterinary dentistry covers complete care of our patients' teeth and mouth – from preventive check-ups and professional cleaning to more serious problems. We perform tooth extractions, treat jaw fractures and carry out oncological procedures in the oral cavity. Every procedure is tailored to the individual patient and their state of health.

Why is general anaesthesia needed for teeth cleaning?
Animals don't cooperate the way people do in a dentist's chair. Anaesthesia allows a thorough examination, X-rays and treatment of the whole mouth without stress or pain for the patient.
How often should my dog's teeth be cleaned?
It depends on predisposition. Small breeds need cleaning more often (once a year), large breeds less often. Brushing at home 2–3 times a week slows tartar build-up considerably.
How do I know my dog has a dental problem?
Bad breath, brown deposits on the teeth, red or bleeding gums, refusing hard food or chewing on one side only. If you notice these signs, don't hesitate to come in.
