BENNETT Veterinary Hospital was founded in 2000 out of the conviction that Slovakia deserves veterinary care at a European level. The hospital is named after Prof. Avery Bennett, Dipl. ACVS — an American surgeon and mentor who profoundly shaped our founder's professional development.
From day one we bet on specialisation and on investing in technology that didn't yet exist in Slovakia. Today we are among the best-equipped veterinary facilities in the country.
We are a proud partner of the Sloboda Zvierat animal charity and actively help raise awareness of responsible pet ownership.

“I founded the BENNETT hospital so that clients could find specialisation and innovation — all under one roof.”
MVDr. Kapalko is a certified orthopaedic surgeon holding the European qualifications CertSAS and AdvCertSAOS. He operates to international AO-ASIF standards and is a pioneer of small-animal orthopaedic surgery in Slovakia.
He founded and runs the only digital lameness laboratory (gait lab) in Slovakia, which allows objective diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders.
