Petra Menclová runs the certified rehabilitation centre on the second floor of the hospital and, as a physiotherapist with the CertCAAPR certification, draws up a recovery plan for each patient individually: for dogs after orthopaedic surgery, for neurological cases, for geriatric patients whose aim is to stay mobile, for overweight patients, for canine athletes and for dogs after various traumas.

In her work she very often uses the underwater treadmill: the water supports the body while providing resistance, so muscle can be strengthened without loading a freshly operated joint.

She regularly attends further professional courses and workshops in veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Alongside rehabilitation she is also responsible for the management of the clinic.
